This bag is made out of saved materials used in other productions. The leather is all naturally tanned.

Ceci n'est pas refers to the famous painting 'Ceci n'est pas une pipe' ("this is not a pipe") by René Margritte.

It is a playful commentary on the less glamorous ways of the fashion industry. The mostly overpriced items are promoted by huge marketing campaigns and often bought with illegally obtained or ethically-suspect money. It's all about the brand and not about the value of the actual product. That's why these bags were created with a purely functional design. Strong, durable and let’s not forget gorgeous, they are all one-of-a-kind. 

All bags are of Dutch Design and handmade in-studio in the heart of Amsterdam. Any imperfections are part of the design. These are a collectors item and will become more valuable over time.
